Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 4 years.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
LPNs only: Must have previously worked on at least (1) a travel assignment with Trusted and have a reference from that assignment
Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits.
Guaranteed Hours 36 hours per week
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Surgical/Orthopedics/Urology/Medical; Age specific population - adult, geriatrics. Hips, Shoulders, Knees.
Experience: Care of post operative and medical patients.
Block scheduling allowed as long as needs are met for the unit. Takes requests into consideration.
Weekend Requirement: Every other. Set rotation, either weekends 1 and 3 or weekends 2 and 4.
Holiday Requirement: Rotation with core staff. If been there long enough, will see what was worked the previous year. so not working the same holidays as previous year. Can take more of a preference. Manager will schedule.
Floating Requirements : If not needed on 5P, would be required to float to 3P or 4P (M/S) units or to care for patients boarded in the Emergency Department. Boarders are intermixed in ED. Float pool floats first, then will be in rotation.
Scrub Color/Dress Code: RN/LPN - Navy; C.N.As/Monitor Techs - Dark Grey/Pewter, scrubs mustbe solid color, no embroidery and/or patterns on scrubs. WVU Medicine or solid color fleece zip-ups may be worn in grey, black, navy or royal blue. Solid undershirts may be worn in white, grey, or black in matching color to the scrub top. Closed toed shoes only. No crocs.
