Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 18 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 2 years.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Our Heart Failure / Stroke Unit is a 42-bed unit dedicated to our patients diagnosed with both neurological and cardiac conditions, such as congestive heart failure or acute stroke. This area is a 1:6 ratio staffed with a group of highly skilled nurses trained to work with these specific diagnoses. This team takes pride in being experts at managing complex neuro-cardiac conditions with precision and compassion while working alongside the cardiologists and neurologists to ensure we maintain the best practice standards of care for this specific patient population.
RNs Only - All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.
AUTO OFFER- MUST INCLUDE CLINICAL INTERVIEW AT TIME OF SUBMISSION
Must be willing to float to units/hospitals - 48 GTD HRS. 4 X 12’S.
** 36 GTD hours may be considered upon approval for 4/28 & 5/5 start dates.
You may submit minimal RTO requests. Holidays as required. Every other weekend
• 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.
