Electrical Engineer Associate

Our work depends on an Engineer Associate joining our team to support Navy research, development, test, and evaluation of hardware and software used n US Navy electromagnetic technology as it pertains to US Navy ships, submarines, and small craft.

HOW AN ENGINEER ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Designs, evaluates, plans, tests, and operates electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems
Works collaboratively with team members to provide support to the fleet
Performs maintenance and repair of systems and prepares systems for shipment, installation and use to measurement objectives
Perseverance in realizing solutions result in a safer and better prepared fleet.
Prior experience with application of software and middleware to accommodate data collection is directly applicable.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Required Experience: 0+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Fundamental electrical skills sets and good engineering practices required

Security Clearance Level: SECRET or Ability to Obtain Secret
Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate with others, work jointly and independently on problem solving, willingness to travel
Preferred Skills: Prior exposure to Raspberry PI testing
Location: On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
