Hospice Community Relations Representative
JOB PURPOSE:
WehaveanewandexcitingopportunityforaCommunityRelationsRepresentative.Wearelookingforadrivensales professional who will develop early and appropriate referrals by creating and sustaining business partnerships with referral sources to drive growth in our Hospice business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Develops,implements,andevaluatesquarterlyandannualterritoryplans,strategiesandactionstoachievebudgeted targets.
2.Analyzesterritory,establishessalesgoals,andtogetherwithsalesmanager,writessalesplan.
3.Developsbusinessrelationshipsbymakingeffectivesalescontacts, meetings,andpresentations.
4.BuildsrelationshipswiththePruittHealthHospice stafftoensuretheofeffective communication with referral sources and.
5.BuildsrelationshipswithpartnersfromotherPruittHealthdivisionstoidentifyopportunitiestocollaborateand keep patients within Pruitt’s continuum of care.
6.Identifieskeyreferringphysicians,buildsthePruittHealthHospicebrand,andidentifiedopportunitiestoincrease referral volume from these offices.
7.Identifieskeyreferringpersonnelinhospitals,nursinghomes,andmanagedcareoperations,alongwithopportunitiesto increase referral volume from these sources.
8.Basic knowledgeof insurancecompaniesandotherpayersources.
9.Supportsandparticipatesinpromotionalactivities,salescampaignsandothergrowthinitiatives.

•Demonstratesprinciplesofthesalesprocessinahealthcare environment.
•Abletomanageaterritory,conductsalescallsandpresentations, andgeneratereferralsbybuildinglongterm business relationships.
•Abletodevelopclinicalknowledgebasetosupportsalesactivities.
•Effectiveverbalandwrittencommunicator,includingabilitytocommunicatewiththedifferentdisciplinesinthehealthcare field.
•Abletoidentifyanddevelopnewreferralsources.
•FamiliarwithMSOfficeSuite(primarilyMSExcel,MS Word and MS PowerPoint).
•Comfortablewithvirtualworkingtoolsandvideoconferencingsoftware(Webex, Google Meet, Zoom,MSTeams).
•Abletomasteradditionalprofessionalsoftware.
•Maintainsprofessionalandclinicalcompetence.
•Participatesincenter/agencysurveys(Licensure/JCAHO)andanysubsequentlyrequired reports.
•Attendsandparticipatesinmandatoryin-services.
•Honors patients/residents’ rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints.
•Complieswithcorporatecomplianceprogram.
•Reportsjob-relatedfunctions/tasksthatinvolveoccupationalhazardsincludingexposuretobloodandbodyfluidsand others as necessary.
•Followsestablishedsafetyregulations,toincludefireprotectionandprevention,smokingregulations,infectioncontrol etc.
•Performsotherrelateddutiesasnecessaryandasdirectedby supervisor.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
Extensive relevant industry experience with (2)yearsofcollegeorbusinessschooland/orequivalentcombinationofexperienceandtraining.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Familiaritywithhealthcarelandscapeandsalesprocesses
Two(2)yearexperienceinHealthcareSales/Marketing,oranyequivalentcombinationofexperienceandtrainingwhich provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
