Responsibilities - Ford Service Technician/Mechanic:
- Perform Ford vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations according to experience and certifications
- Perform multipoint inspection and identify/diagnose problems
- Test components and systems using diagnostic tools
- Provide labor and time estimates for repairs
- Repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. in accordance with dealership standards
- Test drive vehicle before and after repairs
- Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessionsto stay current with rapidly changing technology.
Qualifications - Ford Service Technician/Mechanic:
- Automotive Service Tech/Mechanic experience is required, Ford experience preferred
- Factory trained and/or trade school training required
- All previous automotive experience will be considered
- Versatile in skills and tasks performed
- Valid driver's license and insurable
- A positive attitude and good work ethic
