Job Summary and Qualifications
Within assigned hospital and hospital department/campus locations, the Clinical Nutrition Manager collaborates as the clinical nutrition leader of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide patients of all age groups and acuity levels with high-quality Medical Nutrition Therapy following the Nutrition Care Process.
What you will do in this role:
- Responsible for oversight and supervision of the Clinical Dietitians and Medical Nutrition Therapy program.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, evaluations, and employee rounding as well as participating in the disciplinary process of all Clinical Nutrition team members.
- Acts as clinical nutrition lead for all regulatory surveys, including, but not limited to QRS, CMS, and JC surveys.
- Coordinates and implements MNT related performance improvement initiatives for the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
- Acts as a clinical lead for division or corporate wide performance improvement initiatives.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics Required
- Master’s Degree in Nutrition or a closely related field Preferred
- Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration Required
- Advanced certification (RD-AP, CSP, CNSC, CDE, CSO, or equivalent) Required
- Licensed by the State Department of Licensing and Regulation Required
- Minimum of three years supervisory/management experience Required
- Minimum of three years of hospital clinical nutrition experience Required
