Registered Nurse (RN) - Trauma ICU
Job Summary: The RN in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit provides critical care to severely injured patients. Responsibilities include continuous monitoring, advanced life support management, and working closely with trauma surgeons and critical care teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor hemodynamic stability and adjust care plans for critically injured patients.
- Administer high-level interventions, including ventilator support and vasopressors.
- Anticipate complications and rapidly implement treatment changes.
- Collaborate with trauma surgeons, respiratory therapists, and other specialists.
- Offer emotional support and education to families facing severe injury scenarios.
Work Environment:
- Trauma ICU settings in level I or II trauma centers.
