Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 22 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required from any number of months.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
D/N rotating or nights
Oncology experience preferred but not required!
Weekends - variable based on unit needs.
No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff.

*First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor.

• Encounter for antineoplastic chemotherapy
Special Procedures/Unit Details
• 17 James cares for ALL solid tumor cancers throughout the spectrum of their cancer journey; from new diagnosis, through treatment, and also assisting with transition to end of life care.
• Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
• Cares for patients that have true med surg issues
Skills Required:
• Telemetry Interpretation
• Telemetry monitoring
Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units.
RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.
Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more.
Maximum days off: 7 days
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
