Registered Nurse (RN) - RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant)

Job Summary: The RNFA works in collaboration with the surgeon and operating room team to facilitate surgical procedures. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, assisting with suturing, and ensuring perioperative patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the surgeon during procedures, including tissue manipulation and suturing.
  • Monitor patient vitals and surgical site for issues throughout the operation.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and circulating nurses.
  • Ensure aseptic technique and proper instrument handling.
  • Contribute to patient care plans, including post-operative instructions.

Work Environment:
