Registered Nurse (RN) - Vascular Access
Job Summary: The RN Vascular Access specializes in obtaining and maintaining IV lines, peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs), and other venous access devices. Responsibilities include ensuring proper line placement, preventing infections, and providing patient education on line care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Insert and assess various vascular access devices, including peripheral and central lines.
- Monitor for signs of infection or complications and provide corrective actions.
- Educate patients and families on catheter care, including maintenance of sterility.
