Registered Nurse (RN) - Burn Care

Key Responsibilities:
- Stabilize acutely burned patients, addressing fluid balance, pain management, and infection prevention.
- Clean, dress, and monitor burn wounds, ensuring proper healing and minimizing complications.
- Administer medications intravenously, by injection, or orally to manage pain and prevent infections.
- Evaluate patients' emotional well-being and recommend mental health interventions as needed.
- Educate patients and families on ongoing burn wound care, rehabilitation procedures, and home treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams including physicians, psychologists, physical therapists, and pain management specialists.
Work Environment:
- The role is based in burn care units, intensive care units (ICUs), trauma centers, or emergency rooms equipped for critical care.
