Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 4 years.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
LPNs only: Must have previously worked on at least (1) a travel assignment with Trusted and have a reference from that assignment
Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits
Guaranteed hours: 36
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, Alcohol w/d, falls/weakness
Are RNs required to titrate drips : yes with exceptions; No cardiac drip titration; Common titratable &/or set rate drips: heparin, bumex, lasix
Job Duties: Vitals, BGM’s, EKG’s, apply heart monitor, bathing, feeding, toileting, turning and positioning
Shifts & Scheduling: No self-scheduling or block scheduling. Schedule is made out by the manager who will work with staff around any requested time off (RTO). Travelers are expected to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent schedule.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; Holiday Requirement: May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation
Holidays go by rotation for RN’s. PCT’s do not have scheduled holidays, they work if it lands on their scheduled day.
Floating Requirements Floating and shift pull rotation. May be floated to any other MS, MS-Tele, or IMC for lower acuity pts on the floor
Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided : RN: Navy blue
How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation : 1 day Educator/Computer System, 1 day with a preceptor
