What You’ll Do:
Develop Hands-On Maintenance Skills
- Learn from the Service Manager and Property Manager to build a strong foundation in apartment maintenance.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
- Help with unit turnovers, including trash removal, apartment make ready repairs and helping with final inspections.
- Help with work orders, including assessing issues based on work order description and resolving for resident satisfaction.
Support Property Operations & Grounds Maintenance
- Maintain property grounds and common areas by assisting with trash removal and general upkeep.
Gain Experience in Equipment & Preventative Maintenance
- Observe and participate in preventative maintenance of property equipment and property.
- Assist in repairing appliances, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures under supervision.
Contribute to Special Projects
- Help with painting, landscaping, and curb appeal enhancements.
- Maintain an organized maintenance shop and track inventory supplies.
- We’ll pay for your EPA & CPO certifications.
- We’ll provide structured training throughout.
What We’re Looking For:
- Eagerness to learn: You don’t need experience – we just need your commitment to learning and growing!
- Some technical or mechanical knowledge: Is a plus but not required.
- Dependability: Show up ready to learn and contribute to the team.
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license: A valid driver’s license is required to help with property maintenance tasks.
Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour. Pay will increase as your skills grow.
