Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

Maine Medical Center requires all candidates to have at least 1 year of Facility Trauma Level 1 experience to be considered.
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
• Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted): mostly every other weekend.
• Float Requirements: To any med/surg tele unit.
• Must Have Skills/Experience: telemetry, dilt gtts, amiodarone gtts, insulin, Lasix and bumex gtts. Chest tubes, vac dressings, cardiac catherizations, pacemakers.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Stroke patients.
• Type of Patients on Unit: Medical telemetry. Ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes.
