Overview:

The Insurance Implementation Specialist contractor will support Affordable Care project, help to effectively manage deliveralbes and coordinate successful implementation of insurance technology solutions to satisfy business requirements. The contractor will be responsible for the implementation and training of the Insurance system at dental pracces. The contractor will work directly with practice staff and dental providers to workflow analysis, implementation scheduling, system configuration and build, train staff and providers on how to use the system, provide go live support and hand-off to the Insurance maintenance team.

75% Travel expectation.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert for the dental practices during the implementation process and assist in post go-live support, including optimization.
  • Analyze, evaluate and make recommendations for areas of improvement for practices and corporate office departments as it pertains to the Insurance Implementation Project.
  • Facilitate the management of end user expectations.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors as part of the Insurance project.
  • Understand existing workflows and work with the project team to redesign workflows to leverage the Insurance system, document and train future state workflows.
  • Assist in creation of ACI customized training curriculum.
  • Directly and remotely train and support dental providers and staff on Insurance system.
  • Intake, triage and manage project incidents and communicate resolutions.
  • Perform and/or coordinate system testing, including unit and integration testing.
  • Provide regular status updates and escalate issues and concerns.
Qualifications:

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Dental office or dental service organization experience preferred.
  • Health Insurance experience desired
  • Dental Insurance experience preferred
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in technology training is desired.
  • Strong communication skills; able to work effectively with all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational qualities in support of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Detail oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze a situation for potential future problems.
  • Must be willing to occasionally work evenings, weekends and holidays, and be able to travel as 70%.
  • Able to work independently, with little supervision.
  • Strong customer service focus with proven ability to connect with customers, understand needs and deliver results.
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills and ability to work within corporate and dental practice environments.
