Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
RiverWoods is currently hiring for a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to come and join our team! The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations within the health center and provides leadership, direction, and strategic initiatives of RiverWoods Exeter Supportive Living including but not limited to, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to provide the highest quality of care to residents. We are looking for a leader that can be collaborative with cross-functional teams within the organization to provide exceptional care/service for our staff and residents.

Responsibilities:
- Leadership:Lead, guide, and direct the nursing center department heads who are direct reports. Provide strategic leadership and oversight of daily facility operations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Staff Engagement:Create an environment where employees are highly engaged, abide by the core values, and are focused on providing the highest level of care and compassion to patients/residents.
- Compliance:Ensure regulatory and policy compliance within the Lodge Buildings
- Operational Management:Oversee the management and daily operations of the facility
- Financial Acuity: Partnering with Sales and Marketing departments to evaluate census and ability of direct admissions resident potential.
- Work Environment:Provide a positive work environment for staff and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
- Community Relations:Promote and represent RiverWoods in the community to ensure favorable public relations.
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and refine policies and procedures to enhance overall operational effectiveness in partnership with the RiverWoods Group Quality Team.
- Relationship Building:Cultivate strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and the broader healthcare community to both: strengthen facility reputation and trust, and to lead/assist resolve any issues or problems that may arise.
Specific Job Requirements:
- Decision Making:Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Knowledge:Be knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care facility.
- Implementation:Ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
- Professional Relationships:Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
- Confidentiality:Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
- Compliance:Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
- Integrity:Display integrity and professionalism by adhering to RiverWoods Code of Conduct and completing mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training.
- Budget Management:Assist with Preparation of and operate within the annual budget
- Supervision:Effectively supervise the team.
- Customer Service:Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university; . Master’s degree preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid, unencumbered New Hampshire Nursing Home Administrator license.
- 5+ years Long Term Care (or equivalent) supervisory and/or managerial experience required. 10+ years preferred.
- Certification with the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) is preferred.
- Intermediate computer proficiency skills with Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have a solid working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records systems.
- Must have good interpersonal relations with proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Time and Attendance software systems is necessary.
- Must be able to cope with frequent interruptions and manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Must be able to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position and the facility.
