Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support occupational therapists in providing therapeutic care. In this role, you will assist patients in improving their ability to perform daily activities through tailored therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patients' functional abilities.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities aimed at enhancing mobility, coordination, and independence.
- Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions and document findings for review by the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and families on exercises or techniques to continue therapy at home.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure that equipment is clean and properly maintained.
Work Environment:
