The Funding Specialist is an essential position within the Funding Team. This position has various duties and responsibilities, which include data entry, document control, pulling of loans, balancingmonthlyreportsandpreparingmonthly Assignments. The Funding Specialist is also responsible for the onboarding of new loans that book afterrescission.

The Funding Specialist will build relationships with our outside vendors, developers, lenders and custodians through theprocessing ofmonthly andweekly funding's.

SpecificDuties,ActivitiesandResponsibilities:

  • Review all funding criteria ensuring lender requirements are met and Borrowing Notice is prepared.
  • Review, work and cure all exception reports prior to funding.
  • Process Michigan Letters.
  • Assistwithpullingfiles andshiptocustodianorlenderforpossiblesaleorhypothecationofloan.
  • Dataentryofrecordedmortgageinformation,distributionandapplicablefiling.
  • Timelydataentryofrecordedassignments,distributionandapplicablescanning/filing/makingcopies.
  • Balance and review monthly exception reports from custodian assuring all exceptions are cleared withinestablished
  • timeframesperlenderagreement.
  • PullMonthly AssignmentReportandprepareschedulestosendassignmentsforrecording
  • PrepareInvoicesandrequestchecksfromAccountsPayable
  • Downloadrecordedassignmentsfromonlinerecording.
  • Receiverecordedassignmentsfromcountiesrequiringmailindocuments
  • Dailyonboarding/entryofallsalesachievingthemilestone"good-business"
  • DailySortingofallsalesachievingthemilestone"good-business"
  • ThecompletionofmonthlyBluegreenFundings
  • ThecompletionofweeklyFeeBasedServiceFundings
  • CompletionofDailyExperianCreditReportBatchUploadforBluegreenFBSClients
  • Distributionand/orcompletionofDailyReportsincluding:NewLoansBoarded,NewLoansPendingBoarding,OORR,andTS223interfaceverification
  • Daily preparation/auditing of BXG and FBS contracts against the system; checking critical loan informationenteredatthetimeofboarding.
  • OtherDutiesasneeded
