Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Observation Unit
FT Day Shift - (Hours: 7a -7p) Weekend & Holidays - per the department's guidelines.

ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in ournewly renovated Medical Observation Unit.
Unit Information
3 Medical Observation Unit (3MOU) is an 8-bed unit dedicated to the care of adult medical patients admitted under observation status. Common diagnoses include, but are not limited to, ruling out stroke, syncope, and chest painconditions that require further evaluation and testing beyond the Emergency Department. As an observation-only unit, 3MOU offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment characterized by high patient turnover. The average length of stay typically falls between 12-32 hours. Patients who require inpatient care will be transitioned from 3MOU to the appropriate inpatient unit. Team members on 3MO will also have the opportunity to cross-train on 3 West, Wilmington Hospital’s 9-bed cardiac care unit. 3 West focuses on the care of short-stay patients with primary cardiac diagnoses, offering staff a diverse and enriching clinical experience.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- DE RN license or Compact RN license.
- BSN preferred or the commitment to obtaining a BSN within 3 years date of hire.
- All applicants must have two years of RN experience. Acute care or sub-acute care experience is preferred.
- BLS required.
