Production Assembler
What You’ll Do
As a Production Assembler, you’ll be part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team located in Berea, OH. You’ll get to:
·Assemble rigid couplings and band clamps to blueprint
·Performs etching operation on rigid couplings, bands and flanges, etc.
·Understand and know what all parts and components of the rigid couplings and band clamps are and their functionality
·Print finished product labels and ensure accuracy of completed product and label
·Packing the finished parts
·Set up and operate back banders, rollers and spot welding machines
·Visual inspection of all components to ensure quality standards are met
·Use calipers, micrometers and tape measures to ensure parts are made to spec
·Read and understand blue prints
·Clock in and out of jobs in JDE
·Must be willing to work outside of your current position and department as qualified and needed
·Perform daily housekeeping task. Help maintain 5S standards in your work location and whole department
·Abide by all Safety regulations and policies
·Must wear all required PPE for any task/job currently being performed
·Meet all production standards and efficiencies focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost based on current routings/times
·Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:
·High School diploma or equivalent
·Previous manufacturing experience a plus
·Basic mathematical abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
·Organizational and communication skills
·Desire to learn new skills and improve knowledge
·Strong orientation toward ability to effectively implement or respond to change, punctuality and consistent attendance
·Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures, including those related to Safety
·Able to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately to meet expectations
·Basic mechanical ability, including knowledge of and ability to be trained in the use of various machinery and measuring tools
·Basic computer knowledge and comfort using JDE
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
·Will be working in a manufacturing plant
·Must be able and willing to work daily and weekly overtime as required
·Able to stand continuously for 8 to 10 hours daily
·Able to lift, push and/or pull up to 40lbs individually
·Able to use different machinery such as spot welders, back benders and rollers
·Able to frequently walk, twist, bend, reach, grasp, use fine manipulation, push, and pull
