Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Financial Analystto support a large engagement for the customer. This position will be located in Washington, DCand will be a hybridposition, every other week in office.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct communications gap analysis to determine strengths of current approaches and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain portfolio-level communications processes, tools, and resources, leveraging best practices for communications across the portfolio
  • Assist in the enhancement of current communications strategies
  • Ensure all communications are in support of portfolio objectives and are consistent across delivery channels and stakeholders
  • Work in partnership with the VA’s IT Strategic Communications team to ensure branding and style guidelines are maintained
  • Leverage communications methods to identify trends throughout the communications lifecycle
  • Possess strong analytical skills required to proactively research information and begin compiling initial responses to ad-hoc data calls
  • Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of communications strategies
Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, English, or related technical writing experience
  • Years of Experienced Required: 0-2
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent skills in SharePoint and Microsoft applications
  • Good decision-making and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and conduct research with minimal guidance and supervision

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience in the VA Veteran-Focused Integration Process (VIP) project management methodology or experience operating in an agile environment

Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range: USD $55,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Yr.
