Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and health of our grounds, ensuring a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment.
Pay Rate and Shift:
Pay is $18.00hr-$20.00 hr DOE.
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’sexperience, skills, abilities, geographic location,and alignment with market data.
Shift may vary but is 4 days a week, 10 hour days.
Shift may be in between Monday-Friday and 5am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
· Must be experienced in operating a forklift. Current certification preferred.

· Maintain lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas by mowing, trimming, planting, and watering.

· Perform routine maintenance tasks such as raking leaves, removing debris/trash, and clearing walkways.

· Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.

· Valid driver's license and experience with operating a trailer and manual transmission. Operate company trucks to haul trash and debris to the landfill.

· Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments to enhance plant health and appearance as well as control weeds.

· Assist with the setup and teardown of outdoor/indoor events and activities.

· Assist with spreading of ice melt and snow removal when applicable.

· Perform minor repairs and maintenance on groundskeeping equipment and facilities.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.

· Knowledge of grounds maintenance techniques.

· Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance.

· Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
