One of the region’s top Japanese import stores is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our team and grow the business. We are looking for an experienced and successful Service to help take our team to the next level.

We are a Westchester based dealer and part of one of the region’s top auto groups. Interested candidates need to be hands on, willing to interface with clients as well as all team members. You must be process driven and comfortable with technology. We are part of one of the region’s top automotive groups and we’re looking for a hands on leader who is capable of running a large Service operation. Success in this role can quickly lead to a multi-store role.

The role will bring you into one of the premier automotive groups in the region and will be a foundation for future growth opportunities.

We have strong New, Used and Service operations, there are multiple levers to pull on to grow the business. Successful candidates MUST have a fundamental focus on BOTH the Customer and Team’s success and satisfaction. All submissions will be held in strict confidence.

Responsibilities - Service Manager:

  • Forecasts goals and objectives for the departments and strives to meet them
  • Hires, train, motivate and monitors the performance of the Service department team
  • Manages and leads a team of automotive technicians and service advisors
  • Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures
  • Focuses on employee growth development
  • Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks
  • Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines
  • Works with other department managers
  • Serves as liaison with factory representatives
  • Maintains a safe workshop


Requirements – Service Manager:

  • Automotive Service Manager experience is required
  • CDK experience preferred but not required
  • Comprehensive auto industry knowledge and management experience
  • Self-motivated with creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of business management
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
