Role Overview:
Sodexo is seeking a Catering Manager 3 for Grambling State University, located in Grambling, LA.
The position is a hands on position that requires nights and weekends. Position also manages boxes at sports arenas on campus. This position requires that you meet with all the clients and build up an excellent relationship with the campus community. Our Catering Manager will directly supervise anywhere from 1 - 10 events at a time and will need to have a flexible schedule as events may be days, nights, weekends and some holidays. This position also requires that you hire and train a professional catering staff, utilizing the community and students on campus. The Catering Manager will also need to help out as needed in other areas of the account including concessions, summer dining,and retail locations. Catering services include 40% high level catering.

What You'll Do:
- identify customer needs and expectations
- ensure that Sodexo and customer goals are aligned and met
- educate and develop rapport with clients and promote partnerships
- promote a customer/client centered culture that strives to exceed customer and client needs
- coordinate all unit catering initiatives to drive sales growth and track results
- maintain and improve service level resulting in increased customer satisfaction
- ensure all HAACP standards are followed
- demonstrate resourcefulness and quick responsiveness to client and customer requests

Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
