Christiana Care is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Oncology Infusion Center. The primary location for this position will be the Helen F. Graham Center in Newark, DE, but will also rotate to our Elkton, MD and Middletown, DE locations as needed.
**Bonus Details: Qualified external candidates may be eligible for up to $15,000 sign-on bonus paid in equal instalments.
Sign-on Bonus Eligibility Requirements:
- Two years of current oncology infusion experience required
- Chemotherapy Infusion certification required
- Not a current ChristianaCare employee
Position Education & Experience Requirements
- A graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing
- Two years’ experience as an oncology infusion RN experience required
- BSN preferred; ADN considered with agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years
Special Requirements
- RN license or eligible for licensure in the state Delaware
- BLS certification required
- OS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification required to be obtained during orientation
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) national certification through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) preferred after 2 years of oncology experience
- Membership in the Oncology Nursing Society once in position

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm .
In this role you will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and infusion treatments, implanted port flushes and lab draws, cancer treatment-related assessments, and education. This position adds value to the transformation of care at CC by providing access to safe and effective care through the above services to our patients at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center (HFGCC).
