Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 4 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Guaranteed hours: 36
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Dementia, post surgical, falls, influenza, pneumonia, failure to thrive, cancer patients, COVID.
Experience: Chest tubes-preferred experience, pain management, TPN, CBI, wounds. Charge nurse experience would be a plus but not required
Weekend Requirements: Generally every 3rd weekend but may be more based on need- they just ask for flexibility.
Holiday Requirements: Every 3rd holiday- please expect to work one of the winter holidays.
Is there call or a standby requirement : No requirement. Will only give if they have requested to have their scheduled shift off or if
they volunteer to cancel.
Floating Requirements: can float to PCU-taking MedSurg overflow or very low acuity PCU patients.
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any solid color- no pattern/design.
Unit/Department specific orientation: Two days of nursing department orientation and one day on the floor.
