The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team in various functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and administrative tasks. This internship is designed to provide exposure to core HR processes in a fast-paced, global organization. The intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to projects that enhance workplace culture, improve HR systems, and support business operations. This role is ideal for someone pursuing a career in Human Resources and looking to build foundational skills in a collaborative and service-oriented environment.
- Responsible for maintaining all personnel/benefits files
- Responsible for coordinating and facilitating various employee activities
- Shared responsibility for conducting all union employee orientation
- Assist the department as needed in all functions including recruiting, onboarding, screening, etc.
- Participate in all Corporate led training initiatives
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Student currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college/university
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to handle confidential information and work independently by taking full ownership of projects from start to finish
- Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Candidates should be U.S. citizens or permanent residents able to work in the United States with no restrictions.
- Ability to fulfill internship hours and work as scheduled by the Company
