Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Candidates who have 2+ years of experience, 4 days or less RTO can be auto-offered. No Holiday RTO.
No self-scheduling. HCP will be scheduled based upon the needs of the facility. No Block Scheduling
Every other weekend required; Holiday rotation.

Unit Specifics: 32 bed unit designed to care for the adult bariatric, orthopedic, and general surgery patient. Comprehensive disease management is provided for the adult surgical patient.
Pt Pop: 50-100. primary surgical with MS bariatric, Orth, gen
*We can screen if hcp has at least 1 year.
All previous perm or per diem staff cannot travel at Ellis Hospital, no matter how much time has elapsed.
Scrub color provided in UD.
