Direct hire for a Full Time, onsite Equipment Service Mechanic to maintain our Fleet of Electric Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, and Floor Scrubbers for Amigos Meat Distributors Houston Facility. About 90% of our Forklift / Pallet Jack Fleet is electric, and 10% propane powered. The ideal candidate will be able to Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown models. Includes propane, electric motors, small motors, transmissions, drive axles, differentials, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, electrical systems, and lifting systems.
Salary range of $800/wk to $1000/wk depends on demonstrated knowledge, skills, abilities and verifiable work experience.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all Fleet Equipment
- Perform all assigned planned equipment maintenance services
- Maintain a service log and equipment cabinet of inventory
- Process paperwork after completion of each job
- Perform regular routine equipment inspections to identify potential problems and safety concerns and document.
- Manage your time and work schedule
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts M-F
- Day shifts
- Weekends (work every other Saturday 8a-12p)

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Forklift repair technician, GSE Technician, or small engine repair technician.
- Good Mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, internal combustion engines, and hydraulic systems.
- Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
- Valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- Technical degree, previous forklift repair experience, welding experience and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
