The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling manufactured products and packing them according to specifications. All tasks must be completed to meet quantity and quality standards within assigned functions.
1st shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm
Job Duties:
- Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to instructions.
- Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation and build products to those specifications.
- Use various machines and hand tools to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
- Maintain equipment and conveyors, performing basic repairs as needed.
- Inventory tools, parts, and supplies; contact materials handler when supplies are needed.
- Periodically check products according to company policy to ensure quality and uniformity; resolve any identified issues and alert the supervisor.
- Exhibit teamwork by maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude. Support peers during high demand by working assigned hours and required overtime; comply with scheduled start/stop times and break periods.
- Confidently communicate, interact, and build customer relationships in alignment with the company's culture.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software for completing logs and records.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
- Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Basic skills in mathematics, reading and writing.
- Detail-oriented and consistent.
- Effective team player.
- Dependable and extremely trustworthy, with the ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Manual dexterity for assembling products or machines as directed.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must wear gloves and ear protection.
