As a Personal Caregiver, you will provide direct care to residents with cognitive, emotional, and functional impairments. You’ll assist with daily activities, always aiming to promote independence, dignity, and personal choice.
Overnight Shift: 11:00PM - 7:00AM
- Personal Care: Assist with personal care tasks, including dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Activity Assistance: Support and participate in scheduled program activities, encouraging residents and family members to join.
- Interaction Techniques: Use established techniques, prompts, and cues when engaging with residents.
- Swallowing Precautions: Monitor residents with swallowing precautions and report any issues to the Supervisor.
- Adaptive Equipment: Help fit and adjust adaptive equipment, such as visual and auditory aids.
- Dining Support: Assist with dining activities, including serving meals and household skills.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Preferred: Prior geriatric nursing assistant care and dementia care experience.
- Must show proof of successful completion and certification of a Texas Food Handlers Program or successfully complete within 60 days of hire.
- Preferred: Nursing Assistant Certification, as well as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid Certifications.
