Job Summary

Responsible for promoting highly satisfied customer experience. CECs overee a team of associates at the Front End, ensuring the education and execution of the proper ringing sequence and the promotion of all loyalty programs. CECs lead by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying our REACH philosophy and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Experience

- Role models and executes the REACH principles

- Creates a positive internal/ external customer experience utilizing all aspects of Culture Pulse

- Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting TJX Rewards and all loyalty progrmas

- Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience

- Updates Associates on current customer experience feed back goals, and initiatives

-Supports and responds to all Dressing Room and Jewelry (TJ Maxx) needs

Human Resources

- Promotes a culture of honesty and intergrity

- Takes an active role in the training and mentoring of Associates on Front End Smart principles and Best Methods utilizing appropriate company resources and tools

- Promotes a culture of honest and integrity

- Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides periodic progress updates

- Provides and accepts ongoing recognition and constructive feedback

- Adheres to all labor laws and Associate meal and break period policies

Store Operations

- Executes and adheres to all Company directives, supporting Business Readiness Evalucation (BRE)
- Maintains and monitors operational conrols including change fund

- Assigns registers and coordinates breaks and lunches for all Associates in the store

- Ensures proper POS staffing levels, calling Associates fo rback up as needed

- Audits and approves all applicable paperwork

- Maintains an organized and clutter free shopping environment, ensuring merchandise go back are returned to the sales floor

- Monitors POS and EAS equipment, communicating issues to management

Merchandising

- Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and value equation

- Partners on ensuring Single Queue is full, impactful, and set per compay guidelines

- Adheres and upholds all merchandise and signage standards

- Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded per company guidelines

- Takes an active part in maintaining store standards and recovery of the sales floor and single queue

Loss Prevention & Safety

- Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs

- Ensures all operational and loss prevention controls are in accordance with company guidelines and policies

- Ensures proper and timely handling of damages, no tickets and mismates

- Identifies and communicates alert signals and potential safety issues to management and loss prevention

- Promotes safety awareness and supports and maintenance of a risk-free environment

Non-Essential Job Functions
