Essential Functions of Job:



Talent & Performance Management:



  • Implement and manage the cyclical performance management process
  • Collaborate with leadership team to understand and execute organizational HR and TA strategy, focusing on current and future talent needs
  • Perform succession planning and gap analysis to develop effective leadership development plans
  • Provide performance management support by guiding and delivering performance improvement plans, disciplinary guidance, and terminations, ensuring fairness and consistency
  • Conduct exit interviews for exempt leaders
  • Analyze exit interview data and onboarding feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement


Leadership Development & Strategic HR Support:



  • Build and develop a skilled HR team
  • Support strategic leadership development plans and provide leadership coaching and consultation
  • Benchmark and collect data from surveys and feedback for benefits and compensation, collaborating on recommendations to stakeholders
  • Support network and HQ initiatives and project work
  • Calibrate with operations leaders for peak readiness and staffing strategies including but not limited to effective selection, onboarding, retention, and engagement


ER, Compliance, and Legal:



  • Ensure site alignment and consistency across DCHR network
  • Support HRG in ER case management and provide decision guidance
  • Address escalated employee relation issues, legal-related concerns, and collaborate with legal partners
  • Enforce consistent policies and procedures and revisions, when necessary
  • Perform local work accommodation analysis and calibration
  • Consult on escalated LOA situations


Employee Engagement, Safety, & Culture:



  • Conduct listening sessions, develop action plans, administer Voice Surveys, and monitor progress
  • Drive engagement efforts aimed at creating and maintaining a positive work environment
  • Perform site safety calibration and manage safety incident, collaborating with operations leaders and Environmental Health & Safety Team
  • Manage workers’ compensation cases and conduct site-specific analysis
  • Maintain a successful partnership with staffing agencies while managing contracts to aligned service level agreements


Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • Human Resources Generalist(s), Human Resources Non-Exempt Employees


We would love to hear from you if you have…



  • 5+ years of relevant Human Resource Management experience at the manager or equivalent level, preferably in a distribution center or manufacturing plant
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field; master’s degree preferred
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions and judgments and practice confidentiality
  • Possess excellent verbal, written and public speaking communication skills
  • Ability to plan, organize and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, organize and handle multi-tasks simultaneously
  • Must be flexible and adaptive to respond to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively give and receive feedback professionally and respectfully 
  • Successfully model teamwork and demonstrate a collaborative approach when working with staff, associates, and management

The annual base salary range for this position is $110,840.00 - $123,881.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.  Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.  Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
