Our Business Systems Analysts tie our technology to our business needs as they review Project Initiation Documents (high level scope) to assess impacts to Sales products, determine how new tech solutions will affect our customers, and document detailed requirements for development teams. Their analysis ensures we maximize the positive impact of new technology across the business. The Senior Business Systems Analyst performs functions on highly complex projects and provides guidance to a team of Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) on cross-functional projects. They serve as a liaison between the business community and Information Services (I.S.). This position elicits and analyzes business needs for highly complex projects and validates that solutions fit within the long-term strategic vision. The Senior Business Systems Analyst determines the impact and integration of solutions to business processes and systems. They ensure Business Systems Analysis (BSA) work products conform to quality and content standards. This position stays current on industry best practices, standards, trends, tools, and techniques. They collaborate with organizational stakeholders and senior management to establish and implement processes that enhance efficiency and improve work products for the enterprise.
The Senior BSA may lead, train and mentor a team of Business Analysts. Critical Thinking, Problem Solving skills, Experience with TFS, Visio, eliciting requirements, facilitating meetings, has experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Project, Excel), performs business analysis with minimal guidance and creates requirement deliverables for complex projects. Elicits and analyses complex business problems and needs. Stays current on industry best practices, trends, tools, and techniques. Builds solid relationships with all project stakeholders.
This Senior BSA will need to be proficient in the functionality of the Sales applications (including DRIVE, RS.com, ESP/ESTAT, APCS, and Seismic) and will assist in developing solutions for our customers. The candidate will lead a team of Business Analyst who will collaborate with the product owners, project sponsors, application developers, architects, scrum masters, and if required; 3rd party vendors to implement projects that bring value to our organization. The candidate will be responsible to assist in coaching Business Analysts/Sr. Business Analysts on requirements gathering and standards and will also be coordinating the efforts of multiple business analysts on a project.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile Business Analysis
- Knowledge of Business Process Analysis and Requirements Prioritization
- Familiarity with People Management, Requirements Management and Team Leadership & Motivation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or the equivalent in education and work experience
- Knowledge/understanding of Sales Compensation Process, Sales Leads and Opportunities, Sales Training, and Customer Onboarding Process
- Knowledge/understanding of Salesforce(SAAS)
