CV Resources isseeking a skilled Senior Staff Accountantto manage and ensure the accuracy of financial records for our client's growing healthcare organization in Vancouver, WA. This Senior Staff Accountant roleinvolves performing complex accounting functions, including cost analysis and budget management, and offers the potential to move up quickly depending on experience. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely 2x a week!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and record financial entries for assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses by analyzing account information.
  • Maintain and reconcile subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Conduct account analysis and prepare necessary accruals.
  • Generate and reconcile monthly account schedules.
  • Record costs for newly acquired fixed assets, track existing assets, manage depreciation, and handle asset dispositions.
  • Support audit processes by providing detailed account analyses and documentation.
  • Develop forms and manuals for the accounting team.
  • Collaborate with various departments on invoices, vendor issues, and contracts.
  • Simplify and automate tasks to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting functions.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in creating and managing spreadsheets.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment and a strong work ethic.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least four years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with Great Plains and/or in a healthcare setting.
