PhysicalTherapist Assistant (PTA), Home Care -Enjoyindependence and flexibilityin the field to care for patients in their home environment.

Hours: Full-time | Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm

Territory:This position will work in the field helping patients in their home setting. Our office is in Roseville, MN and the service area of where our patients live is in the 11 County Twin Cities Metro Area. The general territory for this position would be the Southeast Metro (the Cities that are South of Highway 94 and East of 35W).

Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly Range: $26.00 - $32.00

A few must-haves for this position:

  • Currently licensedas a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Minnesota. License is active and in good standing.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a PTApreferred.
  • Able to travel within geographic area serviced by the office.Valid driver'slicense, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
  • CPR Certification

Here are some functions of what you would do as a PTA:

  • Participate in the development and evaluation of the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s).
  • Provides services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of care.
  • Assists the treating physical therapist in documenting a patient’s progress and response to treatment.
  • Completes and submits timely, legible, accurate, relevant and sufficient documentation addressing the treatment and interventions provided, the patient’s response to the treatment and interventions, and the patient’s progress toward goals in accordance with professional standards of practice, policy and procedures, and payer requirements.
  • Counsels and educates the patient and the family, and other caregivers to promote patient progress toward mutually established goals and in meeting healthcare related needs.
