JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Specialist to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, minor electrical, plumbing, and numerous odd jobs necessary. The Maintenance Technician must have experience in electrical and carpentry, plumbing, painting and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conducting all functions necessary to complete requested home repairs such as plumbing, basic electrical work (switches, lights, outlets), painting, and plastering.
  • Accurate and thorough completion of maintenance service order records.
  • Maintain property/properties curb appeal at all times.
  • Assist with make-ready duties such as trash outs, repairs, painting, etc.
  • Communicate needs for parts and supplies to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Ability to transfer all appliances and equipment from storage to property/properties.
  • Astute ability to properly prioritize between urgent and routine matters.
  • Implement Preventative Maintenance measures.
  • Survey properties and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations.
  • Participates in a rotating call schedule for after-hour emergencies and performs effective repairs as required.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 Years Experience (Preferred)
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a California Driver’s License
  • Candidates must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.
