Key Responsibilities:Pre-Operative Duties:Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' medical histories, current health statuses, and readiness for surgery, including reviewing lab results and ensuring informed consent forms are correctly completed. Patient Education: Provide comprehensive pre-operative instructions, address patient concerns, and inform them about the surgical process to alleviate anxiety. Preparation: Initiate intravenous (IV) lines, administer pre-operative medications as prescribed, and ensure patients are appropriately prepared for surgery.
