Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Float Pool experience is required from last 4 years.
• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they’ll be reporting to.
Guaranteed Hours 36 hours per week.
Shift Notes: 4 weekend shifts/schedule; first to float, could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.
Must be able to titrate cardiac drips.
Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units.
Every other weekend.

Floating: To similar or lower acuity.
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele. Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine to titrate down ONLY. No pediatrics, 15 y/o and older.

- Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also have a Clinical Supervisor in a management role.
- Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.

- Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.

- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night.
