Counts material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and posts totals to inventory / property records. Verifies record computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.Position Responsibilities:Maintain an accurate physical inventory count and records.Handle salvage product.Check for outdated product.Checks in Delivery DriversInspects all returning trailersVerifies returned goods and damaged productMakes decisions about the disposition of returned goodsRe-enters goods into inventoryChecks Delivery Driver route tickets, customer orders and prepare for operations.Maintains accurate records of returnsFiles invoices and other documents on a daily basisReceives Delivery Drivers’ receipts of the day’s customer deliveriesReceives appointments as neededPerforms other related duties as assigned.Qualification:• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience• 6 months of unloader or relevant experience• Must have electric pallet jack experience• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position• Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position: up to 30 lbs. regularly, up to 40 lbs. frequently, and up to 65 lbs. occasionallyCompany descriptionPerformance Foodservice, PFG’s broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries.
