Performs preventative maintenance and repair to ensure proper operation and upkeep of facilities, general electrical and plumbing systems, conveyor systems, electronic sorters, forklifts and various other powered material handling equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following)1. Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on general electrical and plumbing systems, conveyor systems, electronic sorters, forklifts and various other powered material handling equipment.2. Performs troubleshooting on equipment breakdown as instructed including disassembly, repair, parts replacement and parts fabrication to minimize equipment downtime.3. Performs general carpentry, painting, electrical, welding, plumbing and HVAC installations as required.4. Installs and repairs DC storage racks as required.5. Maintains and completes various maintenance documents including but not limited to work order requests, preventative maintenance and daily job breakdown summaries, parts requests and parts purchase orders.6. Performs semi-routine duties where some judgment is required. Work is performed under defined and uniform procedures.7. Exhibits reasonable care and operation of powered material handling equipment.8. Maintains the integrity of our Mission, Vision and Values statement while performing daily job duties.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:1. Strong English, reading and Math skills required.2.
