The right candidate will play a key role in the design and development of our next generation Ethernet switching platforms for our world class data centers. Strong experience in modular chassis based enterprise/carrier products is a must.Over the past few years, we have increasingly turned to custom features in our networking products implemented in programmable logic devices. These features include environmental monitoring and control, custom timing, and hardware acceleration.The ideal candidate is a strong programmable logic designer with experience as a design lead in the networking field. Previous experience designing with programmable logic is required. This includes architectural definition, specification, detailed design, working closely with board designers and software engineers to implement programmable logic devices in our networking products, and supporting the validation team in manufacturing, test, and supporting our products in the field. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market.
