The driver will make four to five pick-ups and deliveries per day, driving an average of 500 miles per day and working up to 14 hours per day. Approximately 80 percent of the driver’s time is spent driving or waiting in line at the supply point. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Drive the tanker truck to pick up propane at the refinery and deliver to area AmeriGas facilities; approximately 45 minutes is required to load or unload the truck.• Attach terminal hoses to the truck connections to pump propane into the tanker.• Use permanent hoses attached to the filling ports or the hoses stored in the truck to unload the tanker. Responsibilities Include: Evaluating, planning and implementing appropriate individualized speech therapy programs for each student based on treatment plan goals developed in partnership with educators and parents.Monitoring services and providing progress information that will enable each student to develop their personal goals, preferences and needs.Employing speech therapy strategies and techniques during each session to improve the development of speech and communication skills, receptive and expressive language, cognition, and memory while meeting the individual age-appropriate needs of each child in their natural environment.Writing periodic reviews on students' progress, updating treatment teams, and making any necessary changes to service for assigned children.Managing case records according to agency policy and state regulations and familiarizes self with child’s record.Maintaining and compiling authorized written session documentation and completing accurate billing session documentation within 24 hours of client visit.Establishing and maintaining effective communication with families regarding scheduling sessions and make up sessions.Communicating any activities necessary to implement carryover of speech and communication goals and overall development of students with parents and related service providersConducting and/or overseeing clinical assessments and treatment program recommendations and managing the implementation to ensure best clinical practices are always implemented.Ensuring initial client intakes are conducted in a timely manner, treatment programs are evaluated regularly, and clinical performance goals are achieved.Improving clinical quality standards by conducting employee training sessions, sharing clinical knowledge and offering counsel to the clinical team.Collaborating and building rapport with clients and families to improve the likelihood of best possible outcomes.Providing supervision and support to clients and caregivers as needed and periodically traveling to various locations (e.g., homes and community) as part of the oversight of clients’ treatment programs.Partnering with other professionals such as social workers, speech, occupational, physical therapists, physiotherapists, and educational psychologists; and participating in team meetings and/or conferences as indicated. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Master's degree or higher in speech pathology or a closely related field of study.Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a state speech language pathology (SLP) license.Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with autism related disabilities and emotional disturbance.Proven success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans for students with diverse needs.Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals and next steps.Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment.
