JOB SUMMARY The Dimensional/Layout Inspector / Computerized Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer Level I carries out the following responsibilities: Run CMM pre-existing programs, create new Part programs, ability to read blue prints, Interprets Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances, and able to inspect product on open setup. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings to determine conformance to blue print, or electronic file requirements.Ability to interpret geometrically dimensioned and tolerance engineering drawings.Perform First Article Inspection Reports using AS9102 Forms as required.Work from and with dimensional inspection measurement equipment such as surface plate, sine plates, height gages, radii gages, calipers, micrometers and other assorted hand measurement equipment.To perform the CMM Operator job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.
