The Personal Assistant supports individuals in life areas such as work, school, other programming, money management, health and wellness, personal safety, behaviors, and activities of daily living (toileting, bathing, personal hygiene) both in the home and in the community.Essential FunctionsPick up/drop off individual(s) from/to their home/facility (if necessary) using personal vehicle. Facilitate their departure and arrival for work or daily community integration activities Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support to others such as co-workers and individual(s) Teaches individual life skills such as mobility training, work and community skills as per program Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, text messaging, or in person Participate, engage, review, and follow in individuals’ daily routine(s)/activities as written in his/her Individual Program Plan (IPP) Document all reports and data regarding the individual on time; this includes Daily Activity Log, Task, Analysis, and etc. Report to supervisor(s) and appropriate agencies any Special Incident and suspected resident abuse according to applicable laws and regulations Maintain a positive relationship with individual.
