We are looking for a dedicated Microbiology Clinical Lab Scientist like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsOur Clinical Lab Scientists perform clinical testing in one or more of the following areas: blood bank, chemistry, serology, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, special chemistry, microbiology and manual tests. According to established procedures and policiesYou will perform preventative maintenance on laboratory instrumentation, interpret results as to their accuracy, acceptability and critical limits and organizes work to meet established deadlines and record all data obtainedYou will work actively and be cooperative with nursing and other hospital staff to ensure timely patient care as well as assist with regulatory complianceWhat qualifications you will need:Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license per CA State BoardAt least one year of acute care hospital experience; new grads will be consideredBachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent from an accredited college or universityGood Samaritan Hospital has been serving Silicon Valley since 1965, giving patient's access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology.
