What We OfferPay range: $23.00-27.50Position located at Dublin, CAThis is an on-call position About the RoleAs a Early Preschool Substitute Teacher you are responsible for a classroom of children 2 - 3 years of age. You will provide a nurturing and safe environment working collaboratively with your partner Teacher to ensure the successful operation of a classroom. You will demonstrate good judgement in the care of each child assigned to you. You will verbally engage the children throughout the day in addition to incorporating activities.You will alsoCreate a nurturing, responsive environment that promotes positive development of social and emotional competencies.Collaborate with other faculty and staff membersCommunicate daily with parents or guardiansMaintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environmentWhat We Are Looking ForEducational background with 12 semesters or 18 quarter early childhood education units shall include courses that cover the general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum or a bachelor’s degree in child developmentPatience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Prior teaching experience with preschool students is preferred
