DescriptionThe Opportunity System Chief Financial Officer, UCHealthUCHealth is seeking a highly strategic, accomplished and accountable executive leader to assume the role of UCHealth Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Responsible for the overall financial operations and integrity of the entire UCHealth system, the CFO plays a critical role in developing and implementing the financial strategy as well as providing tactical input to senior management, the President & CEO, and the Board. The CFO is a member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for leading financial functions across treasury and debt, accounting, financial systems, financial reporting, financial planning & analysis, operational & capital budgeting, revenue cycle management, government reimbursement; managed care, payer relations and network development; planning, construction and design; internal audit and supply chain. The CFO also manages the innovative investments portfolio and will serve as the primary liaison for the Board of Directors on financial matters.This significant leadership role represents a unique opportunity to join a highly respected and particularly well-positioned health system at a very senior level. Live UCHealth's values, instilling a high-performance culture throughout the organization, while leading with the highest level of ethical integrity, insight and vision.IDEAL EXPERIENCE15+ years of progressive experience in senior financial officer positionsDirect responsibility across the full finance continuum: accounting, capital/operating budgets, finance, FP&A, contracting, revenue cycle, reimbursement, Medicare cost accounting, state/regulatory reporting, cash management, investments, and debt financing. 5+ years of experience within a complex, matrixed health system with at least $4 billion in revenueAcademic health care experience is a plus. Strong understanding of the laws, regulations and compliance issues governing health systems and physician groups.Experience with employed and affiliated multi-specialty medical groups and how they financially integrate with a health systemExperience utilizing sophisticated financial modeling, forecasting and advanced data analytics to inform decision-makingExperience interfacing with external stakeholders to issue debt and/or fund major initiativesA bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance. A master's degree is required.
