Job Description:The Registered Radiology Technologist performs medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician.ScopeAs a Radiology Technologist, you need to know how to:Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist ensuring clear and undistorted films. If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility. Specific services/positions may have additional education, training or experience requirements.
