This is a great opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMH-NP) to provide behavioral health evaluations within the Emergency Department at Hartford Hospital. Collaborating with the Emergency Department medical staff and an Institute of Living Board Certified Psychiatrist. This opportunity allows you to work in a unique psychiatric setting, gain experience working with a supportive team, and significantly help a large number of patients!
Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:
Nurse Practitioners work in Hartford Hospital’s Emergency Department for the Institute of Living providing level of care evaluations, crisis intervention, medication management, and disposition planning with Masters level clinicians.Collaborate and communicate with theemergency medicinedepartment and medical clinicians across disciplines to effectively identify and provide holistic, quality, and cost-effective advanced practice care for patients, families, and others in a target population.
Shift:
· 36 hour a week schedule
·No call required!!!
